This website is operated by Thekore Learning Stage Private Limited (trading as “The Learning Stage”), a company registered in India with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA). We are the data controller for the information described below, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.
We collect only what we need to run our workshops and respond to you:
To process bookings, deliver workshops, send confirmations and venue/joining details, issue certificates, run the Campus Crew program, respond to queries, and share important updates about an event you've registered for.
We process your data to perform our contract with you (your booking), with your consent (for example, optional updates), and to meet legal obligations. This policy is intended to align with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”). Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us; withdrawal will not affect processing already carried out and may limit our ability to provide certain services.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with (a) service providers who help us operate — such as payment, email, hosting and analytics providers — under appropriate safeguards, and (b) authorities where required by law. Some service providers may process data on servers located outside India; where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your data remains protected in line with applicable law.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data and limit access to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe. In the event of a personal data breach likely to affect you, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected users as required under applicable law.
We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymise it.
Subject to applicable law and the DPDP Act, 2023, as a Data Principal you have the right to: obtain a summary of your personal data and how it is processed; seek correction, completion, updation or erasure of your data; withdraw consent at any time; nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity; and seek grievance redressal. Our workshops are aimed at college students. If you are under 18, please register with the involvement of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect data from children without appropriate consent.
